Associate Professor Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef

Nurfadhlina is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. Her research areas are artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. She is one of the Task Force members on Artificial Intelligence Roadmap Implementation, and a member of the National Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Committee (NBAIC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOSTI). She leads the Young Scientist Network under the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) as the Chairperson and represents the young scientists in the National Science Council.

Her current projects revolve around deep learning, recommender systems, text mining, digital twins, interactive machine learning, and human-in-the-loop AI. Her works are applied to education, biodiversity, agriculture, and health. She also has special interests in learning analytics and e-learning.
